As a Solution Architect at Prophix, you sit at the intersection of financial expertise and technical depth — translating complex client requirements into elegant, effective Prophix One system designs that deliver real business value. You'll work closely with implementation consultants, Sales Engineers, and Product Management to ensure every customer has a credible, well-supported path to success. Your impact extends beyond individual projects: you help sharpen Prophix's delivery methodology, elevate the broader team's capabilities, and bring the voice of the customer directly into product and go-to-market conversations.

What You Will Do

Solution Design and Client Delivery 

• Elicit, analyze, and document complex client business requirements, then translate them into detailed Prophix One system designs and supporting specifications that guide implementation teams through successful delivery 
• Conduct design reviews and model audits on active implementations, identifying risks early and confirming that configurations align with established best practices before issues compound into rework 
• Manage multiple concurrent client engagements, balancing delivery quality, stakeholder expectations, and project timelines across overlapping workstreams

Team Enablement and Methodology 

• Coach and mentor implementation consultants during project execution, sharing hands-on product and domain expertise to raise consistency and quality across the delivery practice 
• Maintain and evolve implementation methodology, design standards, and a shared knowledge base that the broader delivery team can learn from and build on 
• Develop and contribute enablement content that supports repeatable, high-quality delivery at scale 

Cross-Functional Contribution 

• Act as a customer advocate to Product Management, surfacing recurring capability gaps, field insights, and emerging customer needs that can inform the product roadmap 
• Partner with Sales Engineers on proof-of-concept builds and pre-sales technical analysis, helping prospective customers see a clear and credible path to value with Prophix One 
• Contribute vertical industry knowledge and functional input to Sales and Marketing, supporting a more informed buyer experience during the sales cycle iatives, balancing delivery quality, stakeholder expectations, and project timelines without dropping the ball

What You Will Bring

Required Qualifications 

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in a business or technical consulting role, including requirements elicitation, analysis, and translating complex business needs into system designs and supporting documentation 

• Practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Analysis Services, applied in a delivery or implementation context 

• Working knowledge of GAAP, financial statement preparation, and corporate budgeting and forecasting processes 

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements, balancing delivery quality, stakeholder expectations, and competing timelines 

• Legally entitled to work in Canada, with a valid passport and ability to travel internationally as required by client engagements 

• Comfortable using AI tools responsibly for research, drafting, and data review; adaptable to new tools and evolving workflows 

Preferred Qualifications  

• Comfortable using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, and data review 

• Collaborative mindset when working across teams and with AI supported tooling. 

• Hands-on experience with a CPM or financial planning platform such as Prophix, Anaplan, Vena, Planful, or OneStream, applied in a delivery or implementation context 

• Background in corporate finance or FP&A prior to transitioning into a consulting or technical role 

• Exposure to data modeling, dimensional structures, or ETL concepts applied in a financial reporting or planning context 

• Experience with SaaS-based business solutions and familiarity with the ERP, CRM, or BI markets 

• Experience developing and delivering enablement content or internal training programs for a delivery or consulting team 

What Success Looks Like

• 30 days: You know our platform, our customers, and how your team operates. You’ve completed onboarding and are contributing to live work.
• 90 days: You’re working independently, owning deliverables end to end, and building relationships across functions and regions.
• 6 months: Your fingerprints are on something real. You’ve improved a process, shipped something meaningful, or earned a seat at the table on a decision that matters.

Compensation

The total target compensation for this role is $120,000 CAD to $145,000 CAD, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
