About the Role

As a solution architect, you will engage with our growing user base to scope and develop solutions that utilise Chainlink's suite of products and services. In particular, you will focus on financial market infrastructures and financial messaging systems such as Swift and FIX. You will also work with our Product and Engineering teams to evolve our products in line with market requirements. Once up to speed you will establish yourself as Chainlnk Labs subject matter expert in the area of financial market infrastructures and financial messaging systems, making significant contributions to the development of our BCM (Banking Capital Markets) product suite.

Your Impact

• Drive the successful adoption of Chainlink products within financial messaging systems and market infrastructure by establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including major financial institutions, and providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales and implementation process

• Lead and actively participate in gathering requirements, scoping projects, and designing innovative solutions that leverage Chainlink products to address specific use cases and challenges within the capital markets industry

• Contribute significantly to the development of the Chainlink capital markets product strategy by providing valuable insights, market feedback, and technical expertise, thereby influencing the direction and roadmap of the product suite

• Collaborate closely with internal technical teams, including developers and engineers, to provide feedback and guidance on product enhancements, bug fixes, and new feature development, ensuring that the capital markets requirements are effectively addressed

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the capital markets industry, including market trends, challenges, and emerging technologies, to effectively position and promote Chainlink products

Requirements

• Direct technical experience with relevant financial messaging systems/protocols such as Swift and FIX.

• Technical pre/post-sales technology experience, working with major institutions in the capital markets and/or broader financial industry

• Direct experience designing and building mission-critical financial systems

• Strong understanding of the structure and processes of banking and capital markets across a variety of sectors and asset types

• Broad understanding of financial market infrastructures such as CSDs, CCPs, payment systems and trading platforms

• General technical understanding of blockchains and digital asset platforms, their benefits and relevance to the traditional financial industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in any of the following programming languages: Solidity, Golang, Rust, JS, Java, Python, C/C++

• Direct architectural/engineering experience with blockchain platforms and applications

• Knowledge of relevant regulatory trends that relate to digital assets and blockchains

• Direct experience with DeFi protocols
