As a Solutions Architect Sr. Principal on an Enterprise Zero Trust Program for a Department of War (DoW) client, your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
Analyzes and recommends improvements to existing infrastructure and service offerings, including guidance and support in modernizing and securing networks, refactoring applications, and migrating remaining data center applications to the cloud.
Work in partnership with customers to understand and participate in the development of new mission support IT strategies assessing current and future skills and technologies to support emerging mission needs.
Makes recommendations to the customer in the shaping of the future of enterprise architecture and roadmaps for the command. Assesses DoW frameworks (DoDAF, UAF, TOGAF) and helps to ensure implemented use cases adhere to that framework.
Develops “as is” and “to be” architecture and solutions focusing on scalability and extensibility.
Assists in executing and maintaining enterprise Agile/SAFe activities.
Leads model development and curation for the enterprise architecture, utilizing MBSE methods according to UAF standards.
Defines digital platform architecture frameworks, including design methodology and best practices to be used as a reference for the Architecture team.
Implements the platform under the control of an automated configuration management framework.
Provides in-depth knowledge of information security.
Holds responsibility for the architecture of the data framework that is required by the operations to collect and make available program performance metrics.
Required Skills/Duties:
Must be capable of performing analysis of system operations.
Must be capable of system decomposition via OMG frameworks (UML, DoDAF 2.0/UPDM, SysML, UAF).
Must be able to model systems via different perspectives (e.g. capability, operational, system, functional) and at various levels of abstraction.
Must be familiar with UML modeling tools (Cameo Enterprise Architect preferred).
Must be able to meet with stakeholders in a variety of system domains and analyze requirement, process, system, and/or capability.
Must be capable of extending UML-based models to other tools or modeling environments via existing frameworks/APIs.
Must be familiar with executable models (fUML specification preferred).
Must have the ability to generate/produce data and reports.
Interact and professionally exhibit customer service skills and be able to present a positive approach with customers and peers.
Desired Skills:
Experience modeling complex systems for DoW or other government organizations.
Experience publishing models to web-based or document-based formats.
Experience in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, high-quality environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong customer service.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Education & Experience: BA/BS (or equivalent experience) and 10+ years of experience.
Required Certifications: CISSP or Security+ CE or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP or other DoD 8140 certification.
Required: Ability to Obtain ITIL 4 Foundation.
Desired Certifications: Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP) or Certified User Experience Designer (CUED), or Python Certification (PCAP or similar).
Location: Remote.
Travel: 10-25%

The likely salary range for this position is $149,469 - $201,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
