The Role
About Parspec

Founded in 2021, Parspec is revolutionizing the materials supply chain for the $13 trillion USD construction industry by digitizing and organizing the industry's product data. Our proprietary AI technology maintains a current and comprehensive catalogue of millions of products, enabling our customers to identify products that best meet their needs–instantly. Trusted by top designers, builders, distributors, manufacturers, and sales agents, and backed by leading venture investors, Parspec is paving the way for a more innovative, connected, and sustainable future in construction.

Join us in building transformative technology that reshapes one of the world’s oldest and largest industries.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a senior and technically authoritative Solutions Architect to join Parspec as we scale our enterprise Project Management and integration offerings. As Parspec expands deeper into ERP- and CRM-integrated workflows, this role is critical to ensuring our integrations are architected correctly, scale predictably, and remain maintainable as customer complexity increases.

In this foundational role, you will serve as the technical authority for how Parspec integrates with customer systems. You will design and govern integration architectures across ERP, CRM, and middleware platforms, working closely with customer IT teams, internal Implementation Leads, Product, and Engineering. Rather than owning project delivery, you will own the technical design, standards, and patterns that implementations are built on.

Our ideal candidate is a deeply technical systems thinker who excels at solving complex integration challenges and defining scalable frameworks. You are comfortable operating at both the architectural level and the payload level, and you bring strong technical judgment to ambiguous, high-impact integration decisions.

What You Will Achieve and Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical authority for enterprise integrations between Parspec and customer systems, including ERP and CRM platforms.

  • Design and review integration architectures, including data models, field mappings, authentication strategies, transformation logic, and error handling approaches.

  • Partner with Implementation Leads during discovery to validate technical feasibility, recommend integration approaches, and identify architectural risks.

  • Define and maintain standardized integration patterns, templates, and reference architectures to reduce bespoke customer implementations.

  • Govern and review integration implementations built by internal teams or external partners (e.g., Workato or API vendors) to ensure adherence to architectural standards.

  • Troubleshoot complex, high-impact integration issues involving APIs, payloads, data integrity, system constraints, and failure scenarios.

  • Provide technical guidance during UAT by validating integration behavior and supporting root-cause analysis of defects.

  • Contribute to the development of reusable integration playbooks, documentation, and best practices to improve speed and consistency across implementations.

  • Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering on integration gaps, API limitations, and architectural improvements informed by real customer use cases.

  • Support post-go-live integration stability by partnering with Customer Success and Engineering on escalations and systemic issues.

Why This Matters

This role serves as the critical bridge between complex enterprise ecosystems and our product, ensuring that data flows seamlessly to unlock the full value of the platform. By establishing standardized architectural patterns and governing technical delivery, you directly reduce implementation friction and prevent the high costs of bespoke, unscalable solutions. Ultimately, your expertise ensures long-term platform stability and trust, transforming technical integrations from a potential bottleneck into a strategic competitive advantage.

Who You Are

You are a seasoned technical strategist with over six years of experience navigating the complexities of enterprise SaaS ecosystems and API-based architectures. You possess the unique ability to bridge the gap between legacy ERP systems like SAP or Eclipse and modern cloud platforms, wielding a deep mastery of RESTful services, middleware, and data modeling. A natural problem-solver and communicator, you thrive in high-growth environments where you can influence product strategy while ensuring every integration is scalable, secure, and built to last.

Mandatory Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in solutions architecture, integration engineering, or senior technical implementation roles within a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.

  • Proven hands-on experience designing and building API-based integrations at scale.

  • Demonstrated experience integrating SaaS platforms with ERP systems such as SAP or Eclipse.

  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, data modeling, and integration error handling.

  • Experience working with middleware and iPaaS platforms (e.g., Workato, Mulesoft).

  • Proven ability to make sound architectural decisions in complex, ambiguous technical environments.

  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Experience
  • Deep familiarity with enterprise ERP platforms such as Epicor Eclipse, SAP, or comparable systems used in complex, high-volume transactional environments.

  • Experience designing integrations that support order lifecycle, pricing, project-based workflows, and downstream financial systems.

  • Prior experience operating in an early-stage or high-growth SaaS environment where integration practices and standards are still being defined.

  • Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams to influence API design and integration strategy.

  • Familiarity with construction, building materials, or distribution technology ecosystems.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary and discretionary bonus, plus equity options

  • Unlimited PTO policy

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Flexible hybrid work environment

  • Regular team offsites and a budget for professional development
