Overview of Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solution Architect specialising in AI/ML to join our GTM team. This role will be pivotal in driving the successful adoption of our AI/ML solutions by clients. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of deep technical expertise in AI/ML technologies, strong cloud infrastructure knowledge, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business solutions. You will work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to architect, design, and implement AI/ML solutions that meet client objectives and deliver tangible business value.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture: Lead the technical design and architecture of AI/ML solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs, technical feasibility, and scalability.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand client requirements, conduct technical workshops, and deliver persuasive presentations showcasing the value of our AI/ML solutions.
- Hands-on Development: Translate high-level solution designs into detailed technical implementations, demonstrating a working knowledge of AI/ML technologies and cloud infrastructure.
- Technology Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of AI/ML advancements, including Generative AI, modeling techniques, ML Ops, and cloud platforms (preferably GCP).
- Business Acumen: Understand client business objectives and translate them into AI/ML solutions that drive tangible outcomes, such as improved forecasting, personalized recommendations, or streamlined processes.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering strong relationships across teams.
- Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, contributing to their professional development and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Time and Task Management: Prioritise tasks effectively, meet project deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML techniques, including Generative AI, modeling, forecasting, recommendation systems, regression, and classification.
- Strong cloud infrastructure experience, preferably with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Vertex AI, Cloud Run).
- Working knowledge of ML Ops and the ability to operationalise AI/ML models.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience in a client-facing role, ideally within a sales or consulting environment.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering AI/ML solutions that meet business objectives.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with data valuation and structuring (Nice to Have)
- Experience in people management or team leadership (Nice to Have)
- Sales knowledge and the ability to identify and qualify new business opportunities (Nice to Have)
