The base
We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We’re close to our clients, in the heart of the UK’s financial centre and we have everything we need to work flexibly.
The team
The Solutions division currently looks after over £100bn in assets across pensions, insurance and other long term asset owners like endowments and charities/foundations. You’ll join our team based in London, but operating across the UK and internationally. Our team continues to grow to support the steady stream of opportunities landing with us across a diverse range of client types.
We are responsible for the design and delivery of tailored investment strategies for our clients, bringing the whole of the firm, which as of October 2026 includes Nuveen’s capabilities. We lead engagements with a wide range of clients, understanding their needs through deep investment knowledge and investment strategy insights. Team members come from a variety of backgrounds, most commonly from investment and actuarial consulting, solutions and broader asset management firms.
What you’ll do

Undertake numerical analysis using our in-house strategy development tools, and take a leading role in enhancing current models and new modelling projects;
-
Help to monitor clients’ investment strategies on an ongoing basis, and interact with a variety of other external stakeholders and client advisors; and
-
Contribute towards proposition innovation and new business opportunities predominantly across pensions, endowments and charities/foundations. This could also involve supporting international opportunities with colleagues based overseas.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Educated to a minimum of a 2.1 honours degree in a numerical, finance or economics-based subject.
- An understanding of investment strategies used across pensions, endowments and charities/foundations, including a range of asset classes and investment products, and the use of derivatives to manage risk;
- At least a basic knowledge of industry trends and topical issues across pensions, endowments and charities/foundations; and
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and must have strong experience in Excel.
- Strong experience in using Python (or similar) in investment/finance applications.
- Prior work experience in investment consultancy, asset management or actuarial firms.

Experience of working directly with clients, including presenting.
What you’ll be like
