As a Solution Designer specializing in Wide Area Networks (WAN) to design, implement, and optimize advanced network solutions.
Responsibilities- Aligns the solutions with the IT Infrastructure Architecture standard and Nokia IT Security requirements.
- Designed solutions must meet Nokia business requirements and be deployable and supportable by service providers.
- Coordinates solution provisioning and deployment with service providers
- Understand the design requirements, develop solution, review IT service providers solution, perform the necessary design acceptance and assures the quality after the implementation for the solution.
- Cooperation with Nokia Service Owner, Cyber Security, Business Stakeholders, and IT Infrastructure Architects
- Prepares demand requests to providers and evaluates technical solution proposals from the service providers.
- Participates in the preparation of project proposals, the project business case and in the implementation of projects.
Must-Have:
- Bachelors’ degree or engineering degree in Telecommunications/Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent with Minimum of 10-15+ years’ experience in Network services, deep knowledge of and management in complex environment
- Deep level understanding to review network designs/configurations provided by suppliers to prepare reference architecture for the enterprise network.
- In-depth knowledge on Nokia Nuage technology and platform, hardware and software portfolio and management framework
- In-depth knowledge on the SD-WAN products/technology in the industry, to be able to define the roadmap and product & solution strategy for Nokia to adapt and leverage the technology trends.
- Hands-on experience design, implement, operate, and troubleshoot Nuage based network, both backend and frontend
- Hands-on experience on other Nokia products like Service router, preferred, especially installation and configuration experiences.
- Deep understand understanding and experience with IP routing protocols (such as OSPF, BGP), with advanced skill on route policy creation, manipulation, and troubleshooting
- Good understanding on network technologies TCP/IP, UDP, IP QoS, HSRP / VRRP / GLBP, DNS, ARP, HTTP, SSL, STP, Trunking, & Port Channeling, VRF, IPsec and TLS.
- Experience in HLD, LLD creation and documentation across multiple technologies in IT Network
- Previous experience of understanding and solving independently complex issues related to LAN/WLAN services, including enterprise wired and wireless network, firewalls, virtualization, load balancing, traffic management and WAN routing, and drive those to resolution with service providers.
- Knowledge in area of Network Security with Understanding on network security layer, endpoint security, NAC, etc.
- Network security groups, virtual appliances, NAT
