Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) will support end-to-end infra services in the public cloud. s part of operations, you will collaborate with architects, security teams, and end users to enhance, deploy, and support the database environment.
EICS Public Cloud and Database Services, part of Nokia Digital Office EICS, follows a lifecycle-based operating model that ensures end-to-end accountability across cloud service delivery for internal Nokia customers. Mange the resource running in Azure, GCP, AWS and OCI, provide expert L4 administration, configuration, and troubleshooting for Linux, UNIX, and Windows servers.
Manage and optimize enterprise VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi, vCenter, and advanced features.
Design, implement, and manage enterprise SAN, NAS, and Object Storage solutions, administer and optimize enterprise backup and recovery systems (e.g., Azure , GCBDR or any ).
Develop, implement, and test disaster recovery strategies to meet RTO/RPO objectives, act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, leading root cause analysis.
Drive automation initiatives using scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell) and configuration management tools, perform advanced system performance tuning, capacity planning, and resource optimization.
Implement and enforce security policies, ensuring compliance across all managed systems, mentor junior team members and create comprehensive documentation for systems and procedures and cloud teams, ensuring strong stakeholder communication and alignment.
Monitor system health, troubleshooting issues, and perform root cause analysis, collaborate with DevOps, and application teams to support database needs.

Graduate degree with 15+ years' experience in UNIX, Solaris, Windows, Virtualization, Storage & Backup platforms.
OS Admin: Expert-level administration, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, patching, and automation for Linux, UNIX, and Windows Server environments, including Active Directory.
Virtualization: Design, implement, and manage enterprise VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX), ensuring VM lifecycle, performance, HA, and DR.
Public Cloud: Manage resources across Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, with strong understanding of PaaS/IaaS, migration strategies, and hybrid cloud integration.
Storage Management: Design, implement, and manage enterprise SAN/NAS/Object storage solutions (NetApp, EMC, HPE), monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues.
Backup & Recovery: Administer and optimize enterprise backup solutions (Azure, GCBDR, NetBackup, Rubrik), developing and testing DR strategies to meet RTO/RPO.
Automation & Scripting: Drive automation initiatives using Shell, Python, PowerShell, and configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Skills Required
