Key responsibilities:

  • Review user requirements and consult with internal collaborators on IT solutions.

  • Take responsibility as (sub-) project manager to work out concepts and specifications.

  • Moderate workshops to configure and customize systems flawlessly.

  • Build and oversee test scripts, complete functional testing, and assist with business testing.

  • Contribute to the creation of training documentation and provide training sessions.

  • Prepare and perform data migration activities, ensuring strict adherence to GMP and quality policies.

  • Enforce global process and system governance.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, process integration, development, and authorization partners.

  • Manage external IT consultants and service providers, ensuring adherence to Lonza standards.

  • Transfer new solutions and related know-how to the support organization.

  • Provide 3rd level support for complex incidents and contribute to the resolution of critical/urgent incidents.

  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Lonza's custom IT solutions.

  • Advise internal partners on innovative IT technologies.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences/Engineering or equivalent.

  • Expert knowledge of SAP module MM and WM.

  • Knowledge in GLM and EHS strongly preferred.

  • Hands-on experience in Handling Unit Management/Storage Unit management, Mobile Data Entry and barcoding, Interfaces to external systems

  • Cross functional knowledge in SAP PP and SD

  • System configuration, customization, and implementation experience.

The full-time base annual salary for this position ranges between $151,200 and $176,400. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and job-related knowledge. Full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package including performance-related bonus, medical and dental coverage, 401k plan, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, an employee assistance program, paid time off (PTO), and more.
