ECS is seeking a Solution Engineer to work remotely.
We are currently seeking an organized, detailed oriented, and Solutions Engineer to join our team. This role will entail working closely with the client to understand needs and pain-points, and designing, configuring, and implementing technical solutions across a range of cloud providers, virtualization platforms, and supporting infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Finding intelligent ways to solve problems without a lot of repeat work
- Leveraging expertise to advise and create solutions that are simple, secure, and maintainable
- Build, maintain, and update automation code and/or scripts
- Support Linux and Windows environments
- Help develop strategies to scale, secure, monitor, and maintain cloud hosted services
- Optimize the observability of the environment
- Design and implement continuous integration and delivery automation in support of software, configuration, and infrastructure management
- Support, architect, and troubleshoot network changes in a hybrid cloud environment
- Development of microservices and applications
- Finding opportunities to use data and metrics to inform decisions and create changes to improve the environment
Salary Range: $100,000 - $160,000

- Experience with bash and/or PowerShell
- Deep knowledge of tuning Linux internals & core system services (DNS, SMTP, Syslog, IPTables, etc.)
