Job Description:
This job is responsible for defining and leading the engineering approach across end-to-end technology stacks. Key responsibilities include leading teams to deliver design solutions, engaging in development environments to identify and improve performance/capacity issues, and ensuring system design solutions comply with enterprise standards. Job expectations include demonstrating technical expertise within domains, decomposing objectives into work units, advancing efficient solution delivery practices, and promoting exceptional design, engineering and organizational practices.

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Regulated Voice Recording engineer. The candidate should have in-depth technical experience in design, implementation and maintenance of NICE voice recording (cloud & on-prem) systems that comply with industry regulations and standards. The candidate should have strong organizational & program management skills to help drive & oversee global initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that execution aligns with product strategy by working with product management, product owners, and other stakeholders, contributing to the technology strategy for their technical domain
  • Mentors and guides Solution Engineer resources and more junior engineers on performance evaluation and validation methods and tools ensuring system design technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards
  • Participates in solution-driven discussions, such as various Communities of Practice (COPs), contributes to the design of large or highly complex architectural designs, and finds creative solutions through their knowledge of the domain and operational constraints
  • Collaborates with Development and Infrastructure teams to understand technical solutions and provide the performance capabilities required in the application across the technology stacks provided by peer Engineering Leads
  • Plan, deploy, and maintain voice recording solutions that meet regulatory standards, ensuring seamless integration with adjunct voice technology platforms
  • Manage the transition of technology change and complex technical projects in the Regulated Voice Recording environment.
  • Translate the request into technical scope of work.
  • Evaluate user impact to execution strategy including pre-implementation, cutover, and post-change validation tasks.
  • Ensure all voice recording systems adhere to industry standards and compliant to jurisdiction requirements
  •  Work with telephony systems, PBX, VoIP systems, and cloud-based platforms to integrate voice recording solutions
  • Develop risk mitigation plan for pre, during, and post transformation.
  • Familiar with cloud technologies & services
  • Ensure migration process adheres to change control, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure proper understanding, documentation, and implementation of business requirements.
  • Effectively communicate overall program and status updates to key business stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate upcoming migrations/project work to senior tech leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering technology solutions, voice and video preferred, but not required.
  • Exercised a progressive mentality to consistent optimize existing practices and reduce time to market for programs and tasks
  • Proficient in database navigation & scripting in MySQL & MSSQL
  • Analytical and organizational skills, including attention to detail, and ability to determine effective course of action as required
  • Ability to review, understand, and interpret technology updates for applicability in the environment we support
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers and leadership as needed
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Visio
  • 10 years’ experience working on technology initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with Applications / Software Tools:
  • NICE NTR, NICE NTRX, NICE NTRX Cloud, Compass, Sentinel, IPC Unigy

Pay and benefits information

Pay range$111,600.00 - $173,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
