Solution Architect

The Solution Architect leads the design and architecture of comprehensive SAP and Vistex solutions for complex business environments. This role requires a deep understanding of functional and technical integration, overseeing blueprinting, configuration, and implementation, while collaborating with multiple stakeholders and mentoring implementation teams.

Responsibilities:

• Participate as an advisor in blueprinting, presales, and scoping meetings to align functionality with corporate strategy and product roadmap.
• Understand technical and system environments to provide scalable, high-performance solutions addressing customer requirements.
• Assess business needs and propose solutions based on standard Vistex functionality.
• Review all development objects to ensure they align with IT policies and minimize custom development.
• Implement and support solutions, including gathering business requirements, designing business processes, building and testing solutions, and delivering training.
• Conduct continuous QA reviews for assigned projects and provide functional and technical guidance to project teams.
• Promote standardization of processes across business units utilizing Vistex functionality.
• Resolve issues from design and blueprinting sessions.
• Participate in system integration testing to ensure business requirements are met.
• Assist with pre-sales activities, project scoping, and estimation.
• Provide leadership and vision, including independently leading blueprint workshops and full solution lifecycle activities.
• Build and maintain client relationships, including C-level stakeholders, as a trusted advisor.
• Understand client businesses and processes, advising on optimal Vistex solutions.
• Collaborate across teams to define solution roadmaps.
• Lead solution delivery and process simplification discussions.
• Document and lead resolution of project escalations and provide reusable solutions for recurring industry issues.
• Demonstrate fundamental working knowledge of ABAP, including debugging and exits.
• Possess strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities.

Qualifications Education Required Bachelors or better. Experience Required years of experience with SAP PP, and integration with other modules such as BI, FI, CO, MM. Deep application knowledge in manufacturing processes Experience in SAP infrastructure planning, delivery, and performance optimization. Demonstrated leadership and SAP project management experience, including managing priorities, budgets, and timelines. Experience in strategic and tactical technology planning, IT architecture, and capacity planning. Understanding of SAP interface technologies in NetWeaver 7.3, SAP BTP, SAP BI, ETL tools, and data extraction/conversions. Strong conceptual strength, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated success in business case development and stakeholder engagement. Fluency in English Experience in industries such as agribusiness, food traders or agri-cooperatives. High proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio). Willingness to travel and committed to long-term learning of Vistex solutions. Preferred Consulting experience with Big 4 or similar firms preferred.
