We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in distributed systems and extensive technical expertise. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be collaborative, and able to challenge Product Owners and team decisions to achieve the best outcomes. They will focus primarily on backend technologies and bring consulting experience, along with strong sales and negotiation skills.
Lead and architect complex distributed systems, integrating multiple web applications and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive architectural decisions and implement best practices.
Act as the interface between solution and development teams, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and technical implementation.
Provide hands-on support and guidance to development teams, especially in frontend (React) and backend (C#, .Net, Azure) architectures.
Support and mentor team members, fostering a coachable and highly collaborative environment.
This is a remote position with occasional travel (if needed)
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of MS Stack, including C#, .Net, and Azure; hands-on experience in full-stack or backend development.
Frontend Proficiency: Expertise in front-end architecture (React, Module Federation, Monorepo), with experience leading development across multiple teams.
Data Engineering: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering platforms like BigData, Azure Synapse, Data Bricks, and Azure Fabric.
Distributed System Design: Familiarity with GraphQL, JavaScript, UI performance tuning, and data integration patterns.
Team Player: Coachable, collaborative, and driven, with a "hands-on" approach to leadership.
Adaptable Leader: Balances technical skills with a consultative approach, aligning with both technical and business objectives.
Experience with Hasura, GraphQL, JavaScript, and additional backend frameworks.
Strong understanding of geospatial data applications and best practices in data engineering.
A proactive, transparent communicator with a drive to implement and advocate for best practices.
At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $136,000-$205,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location. We value transparency in our hiring process and are happy to discuss how your unique qualifications align with our compensation structure during the interview process.
