Job Description
Our Global SAP team is a truly global team with over 100 employees and is known for its focus on sustainable value creation by translating latest IT innovations into solutions and services. We use the newest state-of-the-art S/4 HANA features as our strategic platform to permanently optimize and enhance our global template. The world-wide SAP roll-out journey continues. The organization is currently undergoing a transformation towards digitalization, advancing fundamental elements to meet future needs, such as using new technologies.
YOU can be part of this highly motivated team to ensure Sika’s continuing success on our SAP journey. To set the foundation and ensure Sika’s success on our SAP journey, we are looking in Zurich within our SAP Supply Chain Team (DTS: Demand-to-Supply) for a passionate and experienced SAP Supply Chain Solution Architect to develop and deploy our current solutions across the world but also to improve it with new functionalities and additional modules.
Your main focus will be on Production Planning for Processed Industries (PP-PI), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) and secondly on other modules such as Purchasing (MM) or Quality Management (QM) or Plant Maintenance (PM) or any new SAP solutions in the area of Supply Chain.
The objective of the role is to implement standardized templates for SAP business processes to ensure efficient performance of the business as well as consulting our business team on applying SAP in the best way. You will play a significant role designing and implementing SAP Supply Chain related functions. Together with our Development Team and Business Teams, you will be a key asset to build and improve our SAP solutions through projects of different sizes, mostly driven from our Zurich headquarters.
Your core tasks consist of:
- Responsibility for the realization of challenging SAP projects as part of the global SAP team.
- You design SAP solutions in collaboration with the process experts from the business team and implement those using defined methodologies (i.e. data migration, key user training, testing and go-live).
- Duties in the 2nd and 3rd level support, Change & Incident Management, and you also act as helping hand for the key users.
- Responsibility of the batch jobs related to your SAP modules, their creation, and maintenance.
- Responsibility of establishing interfaces connection with the Sika development team, also with external providers.
- You are also responsible for the Business Process Analysis in cooperation with the Business and provide concepts and specifications.
Qualifications
- Studies in Business Informatics, Information Technologies or Engineering & Computer Sciences
- Expert in SAP IBP & SAP PP/DS with in-depth knowledge of the SAP business processes
- Very good knowledge in SAP PP-PI
- Good or sufficient knowledge in the other SAP Supply Chain modules (MM, PM or else)
- Willingness to learn or to improve knowledge about SAP Supply Chain modules
- Manufacturing industry process know-how is required
- Good understanding of interfaces technologies is required
- Fluent in English
