The Solution Architect (SA) role is a KEY pre-sales technical position in Huawei Cloud’s international business division. Our solution architects offer comprehensive cloud knowledge and industry insights when crafting solutions for customers and partners. Solution Architects are ultimately responsible for architecting cloud and data transformation solutions that enable customer and partner success.
Key Responsibilities
o Working closely with customers and partners to ensure successful solution delivery of Cloud services and vertical data solutions, focusing on industries including Internet, manufacturing, digital marketing and media, retail, finance, government, etc.
o As a thought leader, evangelizing and helping customers and partners understand the technical and business benefits of Huawei Cloud services and vertical data solutions.
o Understanding the unique requirements of customers and partners, and providing appropriate technical cloud solutions and architecture designs based on Huawei Cloud services and vertical data solutions.
o Have a breadth of industry expertise and challenge the status quo to bring innovation, ideation, and spark divergent thinking within accounts.
o Engage with technical customers to build solid relationship
o Providing assistance to customers and partners to migrate their existing IT systems onto Huawei Cloud.
o Responsible for demo development and testing Huawei Cloud services and vertical data solutions when necessary.
o Years Experience: 5+ primarily in a client-facing role, with strong technical background: large scale distributed architecture, cloud, big data, vertical based digital transformation, etc.
o Be fully mobile, often visiting our clients for meetings and workshops. Able to create documentation that can express cloud architectures using text and diagrams.
o Ability to quickly grasp customer/partner strategic business objectives to articulate an engagement plan that addresses these objectives.
o Ability to impact and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to drive business results.
o Strong technical background, working experience should involve technical consulting, development and deployment. Experience of Cloud Native architecture: Container, Kubernetes, DevOps. Familiarity with any of major public cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
o Proven consulting as well as technical background, hands on customer delivery experience with cloud computing.
o Able to work under high pressure, a quick learner with a passion for cloud technology. Able to think strategically about businesses, products and technical challenges.
