Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a highly skilled Solution Designer to translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive architecture solutions. This role involves creating high-level and detailed solution designs across application, data, integration, and infrastructure components, ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards, security policies, and regulatory guidelines. The Solution Designer will influence project success by supporting development teams, evaluating technological options, and ensuring delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that support strategic business initiatives.
Software Requirements
Required:
Experience with enterprise architecture tools and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate, UML)
Proficiency with solution design, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation tools
Familiarity with modeling tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect, Visio)
Knowledge of integration tools and frameworks (e.g., Enterprise Service Bus, API Management)
Preferred:
Experience with cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) solutions and services
Familiarity with DevOps tools and automation frameworks (Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible)
Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (ISO27001, GDPR, SOC)
Overall Responsibilities
Analyze complex business and technical requirements to develop scalable, secure, and integrated solution architectures.
Create high-level and low-level design artifacts, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and data flow models.
Define the scope, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability, availability).
Participate in solution walkthroughs, design review sessions, and governance forums with stakeholders.
Ensure proposed solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and compliance regulations.
Support development, testing, and deployment teams by clarifying design decisions and resolving technical issues.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate technology stacks, frameworks, and tools for all project phases.
Collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives and technical standards.
Lead or contribute to technical risk assessments, architecture reviews, and optimization initiatives.

Day-to-Day Activities
Analyze business and technical requirements to craft comprehensive solution architectures.
Create and review architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and design documentation.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and compliance teams to validate designs.
Present and lead solution walkthroughs and design review meetings with stakeholders.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related fields.

8+ years of experience supporting large-scale enterprise or digital transformation projects.
Proven experience developing comprehensive system architectures and technical roadmaps.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable design documents.
