- Provide systems administration support for multiple Solaris servers running Solaris 10.
- Install and configure new software and hardware products.
- Perform system tuning and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Support the development and testing teams as necessary, evaluate and recommend new products that meet their needs.
- Manage the SAN environment to ensure availability and performance.
- Design and implement creative solutions that improve system processes through automation and documentation.
- May act as a manager or lead, responsible for planning and monitoring schedule milestone and deliverables.
- Must possess effective oral and written skills and strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
- Must be a team player able to work in a dynamic environment and have a working knowledge of the SDLC and the associated processes and documentation.
Specific Experience:
- Must possess 10 years Solaris 10 and 5 years SAN Fibre Channel Administration experience.
