About This Job
Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location for a Software Tester. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software engineers to create test plans
• Develop and maintain tests and testing environment
• Carry out testing to industry standards
• Develop validation and verification scenarios
• Work collaboratively and efficiently with development team
• Analyze and verify system requirements
• Produce documentation outlining their analysis
• Utilize configuration management processes and tools
• Work within an Agile development environment to provide detailed system design and preliminary software design
• Develop technical route maps in readiness for major customer reviews
• Interface with a variety of stakeholders
• Manage your workload according to the needs of the contracted schedule
• Provide internal progress reports
• Attend and provide input to customer review meetings

Work Location
This position will primarily perform these activities in or around Hill AFB, UT. Hybrid work accommodations may be considered.

Clearance Requirement
The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. An active Top Secret clearance is preferred but not required.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Education and Experience Requirements for this Position

• High School diploma and 11+ years of relevant work experience, or
• BS/BA degree in a STEM or other related field with at 7+ years of professional experience, or
• MS/MA degree in a STEM or other related field and 5+ years of experience
• Experience in developing, writing, and executing test plans
• Experience in system engineering methodologies
• Ability to work independently with general guidance from technical manager
• Able to converse about technical content with a diverse range of stakeholders

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience utilizing the Atlassian Tool Suite: JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket
• Proven communication experience across diverse teams in multiple locations
• Experience with Oracle and SQL scripts

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75510 - $128340
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
