Software Test Engineer

About the Company

Our Client is a global payments technology provider.

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to ensure system reliability, accuracy, and compliance across transaction processing and customer lifecycle workflows. 

• Execute functional, integration, and user acceptance testing across payment systems;
  
• Validate end-to-end workflows including onboarding, transaction processing, billing, fraud controls, and account management;
  
• Perform testing on transaction messaging flows and backend processing logic;
  
• Support certification and compliance testing with external networks and partners;
  
• Investigate defects, coordinate resolution, and communicate updates to stakeholders;
  
• Work closely with development, business, and QA teams to ensure alignment on testing scope and outcomes;
  
• Develop and execute test cases, and maintain documentation using standard tools;
  
• Perform data validation and analysis using database queries;
  
• Support system integration testing using APIs and related tools;
  
• Contribute to reporting, documentation, and go-live readiness activities. 
  

• Experience in payment or transaction-based systems;
  
• Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, account structures, and financial workflows;
  
• Familiarity with testing tools, defect tracking systems, and API testing;
  
• Working knowledge of SQL or similar for data validation;
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
