InfyStrat is seeking a dedicated Software Test Engineer to join our onsite team. In this critical role, you will be actively involved in the hands-on testing of our software products to ensure they meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with development teams to design and execute test cases, perform detailed analysis, and troubleshoot issues in real-time. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, a deep understanding of software testing processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases based on system requirements and specifications.
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate directly with developers and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive coverage and defect-free product delivery.
- Log defects in a timely manner, prioritize testing efforts, and follow up on issue resolution.
- Participate in peer reviews of test cases and provide constructive feedback to fellow team members.
- Conduct onsite testing to assess usability and overall product experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and testing tools to enhance testing capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with manual and automated testing (familiarity with tools like Selenium is a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in an Agile development environment is advantageous.
