A Day in the LifeCathWorks, recently acquired by Medtronic, is a leader in digital health innovation. The CathWorks FFRangio® System combines artificial intelligence (AI) and computational science to derive physiologic information from routine angiograms (X-rays), eliminating the need for drug stimulation and invasive pressure wires. We are looking for a Software QA Automation Engineer to contribute across Scrum teams and help ensure software quality, reliability, and safety throughout the development lifecycle.This is an on-site, full-time position based in Kefar Sava, Israel, reporting directly to the Software QA Team Leader. The engineer will own both manual and automated testing, work closely with software development teams, contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and help embed quality from day one.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test solutions within CI/CD pipelines for end-to-end functional and regression scenarios
- Own manual and automated test execution and reporting within assigned Scrum teams, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing as part of sprint delivery
- Analyze test results and failure trends to provide actionable insights and communicate findings clearly to developers and stakeholders
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and collaborate with developers to improve software testability throughout the development lifecycle
- Contribute to automation standards and testing best practices across Scrum teams
- Share automation capabilities and knowledge to align testing approaches across teams
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience combining test automation and manual software testing
- Practical programming experience in Java or C#
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments
- Solid working experience with core automation technologies, including TestNG, Appium, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps
- Ability to perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing and communicate test findings clearly.
Experience working with medical software, digital health solutions, or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) products will be considered an advantage.
