Essential Job Duties
- Efficiently translates low to moderately complex specifications into quality code
- Utilizes structured logic development techniques
- Documents, analyzes and presents test results to ensure application quality
- Troubleshoots issues within code
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent of 5 years of experience in the IT field
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Minimum two (2) years experience in a computer programming position, preferred
- Experience in Web development within a Windows 2000/2003 environment using Microsoft's Visual Studio tool set, preferred
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviors
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of at least one company programming language
- Demonstrates understanding of data structures and their usage
- Demonstrates understanding of object-based development
- Applies technical writing skills for designing, developing and administering usability test cases, scenarios, sessions, and script
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience working in a multiple project environment with competing priorities
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information
- Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels
Physical and Sensory Requirements
Mobility, reaching, bending, lifting (minimum of 25 pounds), fine hand coordination, ability to read and write, the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and directions, ability to travel, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
