Job Title: Software Quality Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Engineer with 7+ years of experience in software testing, including white-box and black-box testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, expertise in automation tools, and a keen eye for identifying defects and improving software quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.

• Perform white-box and black-box testing to validate software functionality, performance, and security.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases.

• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.

• Utilize automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.

• Work with CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests for continuous testing and deployment.

• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in software testing and automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.

• Strong experience in manual and automated testing methodologies.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C# for test automation.

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).

• Experience in API testing and automation using Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.

• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.

• Experience with version control tools like Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot software issues.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
