Software Quality Assurance Engineer

$80,000-$110,000 Base Salary, Position eligible for additional incentives including bonus, 401k match, health and welfare benefits.

Hybrid, 3-days onsite/2-days remote. The office is located in Atlanta near Braves Stadium.

National Funding (NF) is creating a new, state-of-the-art digital lending company, smallbusinessloans.com (SBL). SBL will launch fully digital lending offering targeted to SMBs seeking an automated loan experience. The company will differentiate itself from competitors via superior technology, risk management, data science, a fully digital UI, and a customer-first experience that emphasizes ease of use, fairness and transparency in pricing, and recognition of customer loyalty.
In order to maximize speed-to-market and efficiency, SBL intends to leverage the availability state-of-the art technology service providers and platforms. At the same time, SBL will build a robust set of modules around these platforms that will serve to differentiate SBL’s offerings in the marketplace and to its customers.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products/platforms. This will person will be responsible for contributing to product success through manual testing, identifying, and writing automated test cases, analyzing requirements, creating test plans, and tracking issues. The incumbent will work side by side with Software Engineers, Salesforce Administrators, Product Managers, and business stakeholders to contribute on improving overall software quality and providing recommendations for improvement opportunities.

Major Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Project management closely while creating test plans for new features and functionalities. 

• Design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications, including web development features. 

• Collaborate with Salesforce Admins, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough test coverage. 

• Work closely with development teams to attain the quality of the deliverables and ensure business needs are met.

• Provide immediate quality feedback to Software Engineers and Salesforce Admins and work with them to improve the product.

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) methodologies, Agile development practices and Continuous integration/Continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. 

• Experience in conducting functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. 

• Learn workflows of our internal Salesforce platforms and external sales web apps.

• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools. 

• Design and execute regression test plans on an ongoing basis using CI/CD process.

• Passionate about automation, but willing to learn and contribute value via manual testing. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Manual testing or QA best practices. 

• 3+ years of testing salesforce service cloud, including web services and Rest API. 

• Previous experience/exposure to Ready API & Postman, similar tools/frameworks. 

• Experience in any automated tools like Cypress or Playwright. 

• Programming Experience in Object-oriented or scripting languages (JavaScript & Python). 

• Must be able to write basic SQL queries and prepare testdata on your own. 

• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Test Rail and other similar tools. 

• Strong experience in Functional System integration and End-to-End testing.
