Responsibilities
- Participate in QA processes within banking workflows with a strong focus on test automation.
- Work as a member of a Banking Agile Squad/Fleet team.
- Develop automated utilities and scripts to replace manual steps and processes.
- Understand requirements, create test cases (unit, component, integration/multi-component), automate them, and support project delivery.
- Actively contribute to design and architectural discussions, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions.
- Collaborate effectively with business and technology teams in a global environment.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant QA experience.
- Hands-on test automation experience (including DevOps practices) and solid programming skills.
- Programming experience in JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with various databases.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Gherkin/Cucumber and BDD.
- Practical experience with at least one automation tool (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
- Strong test case design skills.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies.
- Team player with effective communication skills in a global setting.
- Self-motivated, strong problem-solving mindset, and proactive approach.
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Experience with Selenium.
Advantages
- Knowledge of Unix/Shell scripting and DevOps experience in a CI/CD environment.
- Understanding of the financial/banking domain.
