We work very hard to provide our consumers with high-quality, exciting 5-star products that make life easier. We thrive on passion and innovation and are looking for great people, with great ideas, who want to build the next big thing and develop while they do.

Job Summary:

As the Software Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our device firmware and software features. You will lead a team dedicated to testing and validating the functionality, operation, and flow of our diverse product lines (connected and non-connected), ensuring they meet the high standards our customers expect – all while getting to brew espresso or grilling steaks

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Software Quality Assurance Team to test, validate, and report status of user interface and software control functionality on physical products at key design iterations.
  • Facilitate team to execute test plans and strategies by engaging with cross functional teams to determine key performance metrics affected by software on products. Relate software iterations as impacts to products holistically.
  • Research and monitor industry trends to drive and implement software testing best practices. Continuously refine and improve working methods to enable industry-leading software testing performance.
  • Encourage team to determine ways of automating testing process by leveraging sources of testing outside of Ninja Software. Facilitate in providing hardware/tools to automate/hand-off protocols.
  • Encourage team to extend testing into 'real life' scenarios with products. Extend team's reach by encouraging ad-hoc and exploratory testing.
  • Report team's major findings to leadership as it pertains to the overall consumer satisfaction. Relate software findings as a story to the impact to the consumer. Consolidate findings to determine if software is truly the impact to the product.
  • Enhance issue tracking and reporting by using up-to-date tools such as Jira. Facilitate in making sure tracking tools are not hindering progressing the testing objectives.
  • Coordinate 3rd party support teams to evaluate status of product against internal testing. Aid pipelining 3rd party results through Ninja Quality or other parties to re-test and evaluate performance of products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance on physical products, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across diverse cross-functional teams, each with their own way of working.

What We Do

SharkNinja redefines fast-paced. Bringing new, complex products to market in new categories every six months is not for the faint of heart. As a result, the talent that comprises our workforce is intelligent, committed, creative, and resilient no matter which department you call home. Everywhere you look here, you see the best of the best.

What makes SharkNinja unique is our method – almost a proprietary intensity – that is shared from top to bottom and produces incredible results. Ours is a winning team that creates the opportunity for anyone to be a winner. It’s a place where we can all (and are expected to) test, fail, learn, win, scale, and do it fast without ego. It’s not easy here by any stretch, but when you see that product that was just a sketch on a slide six months ago and is now on Amazon getting rave reviews, you can’t help but think, ‘Wow, look what we did together.’ If you like that feeling, then SharkNinja might be the place for you.

Why Work With Us

Whether your passion is engineering, designing, marketing, or developing, at SharkNinja you’ll find we’re all about people. We work together to create world-class products that delight our consumers. Building an admired consumer products problem solving engine is hard; we do it better than others by operating differently.
