Overview of the job

We are looking for a passionate Quality Assurance Engineer (Mid-Senior) to help with software testing to make sure our software solutions run smoothly, as well as to provide technical guidance and support to other team members.

In this role, you will get to:

• Devise and execute Software Tests, both manual and automated, to ensure business and software requirements are met (e.g. Functional UI/API testing, Acceptance testing, Regression testing, Black Box Testing, Performance testing)
• Collaborate closely with your team and other functions, ranging from Software Developers to Data Scientists to Project Managers
• Research new tools, frameworks, and processes to improve both the efficiency and quality of our internal testing

You'll be successful if you have:

• 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, or in a similar role
• General knowledge of web-based applications, mobile applications, software development and the SDLC
• Experience in both manual and automated testing, including writing/designing, developing and executing test cases
• Understanding of at least 1 commonly used programming language, such as Python or JavaScript
• Knowledge of Robot Framework, REST APIs, CI/CD, and a modern programming language
• A passion for software testing and a drive to continuously improve methodologies
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required

It's a plus if you have:

• Experience working in Big Data and AI
• Prior professional software development experience, e.g. using Python or JavaScript
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience working with Cloud Platforms, such as AWS, GCP or Azure
