We are seeking to hire a Software Project Manager (Mid-Level) to join our Professional Services team and become part of our success story. The ideal candidates have prior software developer experience, are at the early stage of delivery-project management practice and want to elevate the career path through a business orientation aspect.

What will you do:

On Delivery – Project Management:

  • Defines, documents and executes small projects or sub-projects.
  • Works independently or with a small team, actively participating in all project phases.
  • Follows delivery methodologies, tools, and quality processes. Monitors the team’s adherence to these practices.
  • Coordinates team planning processes based on the established priorities of work items. Tracks and reports on delivery progress, risks and issues.
  • Supports a collaborative and productive working environment, demonstrating appropriate behaviours.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement of delivery processes within the team.

On Software Contribution:

  • Understanding of software requirements specification (SRS) documents, user stories and business cases.
  • Basic knowledge of software quality assurance processes.
  • Basic knowledge of information flows and IT related services.
  • Ability to understand  wireframes or mockups for user interface design.

On Stakeholder Management:

  • Addresses challenges and concerns by managing resolutions, implementing corrective actions, capturing lessons learned, and gathering and sharing pertinent information.
  • Gathers and utilizes feedback from stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of stakeholder management practices.
  • Contributes to the development and strengthening of stakeholder relationships and executes plans for stakeholder engagement and communication.

On Business Situations:

  • Investigates straightforward business situations to identify and analyse problems and opportunities.
  • Contributes to the recommendation of improvements.
  • Engages with stakeholders under direction.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience.
  • At least 2 years of recent experience as a professional software developer.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile practitioner, or IT project manager.

The following qualifications will be considered as a plus:

  • Certifications in PMP, Prince2, or Prince2 Agile.
  • Certifications in PSM (Level 1 or Level 2) or PMI-ACP.

  • Strong analytical and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to learn, adapt, communicate and organize.
  • Being practical with a problem-solver mindset.

  • Willing to work on-site at our strategic client's location in central Athens (near the subway station).
