Software Engineer II – Anthem CoE

Responsibilities

This role involves technical leadership in the Display Graphics application software/Display Platform Services area for the creation and integration of functionality and features for Anthem.


  • The role is required to develop software architecture, design and implementation in line with FCI development and Lean/Agile program execution.
  • New technology development through application development, graphics trade-off analysis, GPU/CPU/Memory performance/optimization initiatives.
  • Provide investigation support for integration/field issues. Participates in design reviews and technical decision making.
  • Mentor the junior members in the team and be seen as a problem solver.
  • Collaborates/ actively networks with stakeholders for new technologies/ideas incubation/information. 
Qualifications
  • B.E / B. Tech / M.E / M. Tech in Electric/Electronics/Computers/Aerospace Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience working various application areas supporting mission critical functions/programs.
  • SW architecture design and embedded C++ coding 
  • Object oriented development experience
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (DO-178C preferred)
  • Creating test cases for software based upon use cases derived from the system and software requirements
  • Object oriented development experience
  • Firmware & driver development experience preferred.

Multithreading/Multicore processing preferred

Skills Required

  • B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering
  • 2+ years experience supporting mission-critical functions/programs
  • Software architecture design
  • Embedded C++ coding
  • Object-oriented development experience
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle
