- Plans the work of the department/team involving deadlines, milestones and
- processes to be followed;
- Provides data about the team in a structured manner through reporting
- Applies change, risk and resource management principles when needed;
- Responsible for the people reporting to him/her and the working conditions in the department.

- Full P&L Responsibility for all SW efforts within the customer programs, Secondary P&L responsibility for global Functions;
- Ensure that the functional team’s managing outsourced work/projects as needed based upon technical requirements and resource constraints;
- Responsible to deliver quality software on time and within budget globally;
- Interfaces on high-level to customers to ensure customer requirements are met;
- Act as an expert/consultant of the specified area – advises internal/external customer with best-practices;
- Support to analyse and assess customer specifications; develop components based on this information;
- Support to evaluate change requests from customer and identify the risks;
- Proven leadership and communication skills: dealing with difficult people, negotiation, conflict mediation and resolution, growing people;
- Multiple years of experience in software development using agile methods;
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other relevant (IT connected) specialisations;
- Experience in project management and coordination in a globally distributed development environment;
- Good knowledge in embedded engineering including low level knowledge and software development knowledge
- Experience in real-time embedded software and system development;
- Knowledge of requirements definition and management;
- Knowledge of problem resolution management;
- Knowledge of configuration management rules and tools;
- Knowledge of risk management;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE®, CMMI);
- Experience in working with (external) customers/OEMs;
- Self-driven, autonomous and systematic way of working and able to help other achieve this;
- Very good interpersonal skills, ability to present status to both technical and non-technical persons;
- Ability to train and coach engineers;
- Good English communication skills both written and verbal;
- Automotive experience;
- Autosar knowledge
- IBM process tooling usage experience
- Knowledge in inter-process communication, multi-threading, networking, Linux;
