We’re backed by leading investors and operators in the fintech and digital‑assets ecosystem. We're looking for experienced software engineers who are excited about building critical financial infrastructure from the ground up.
As one of our early engineering hires, you'll have the opportunity to:
Design and implement core system architecture that will form the backbone of our payment infrastructure
Build essential components including workflow engines, partner integrations, ledgering systems, and public APIs
Work directly with technical leadership to make key architectural decisions
Shape our engineering culture and technical practices as we grow
4+ years of professional software development experience
Our codebase is written in Ruby, but we value engineering fundamentals over specific language expertise
Strong background in building reliable, scalable backend systems
Track record of owning projects end-to-end and making sound technical decisions
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced startup environment where you'll wear multiple hats

Background in cryptocurrency/blockchain development
Experience with API design and implementation

CompensationThe base salary range for this role is $175,000 – $225,000, commensurate with experience.

Latitude Global is a nonprofit that strengthens philanthropic practice by designing due-diligence frameworks, building sector-wide risk-management resources, and conducting research to improve funder–civil society partnerships. They provide practical tools, legal and compliance guidance, and convene stakeholders to reduce barriers to funding for under-recognised groups, aiming to create healthier, more sustainable philanthropic relationships worldwide.
