We are looking for a highly organized and skilled Software Engineer to contribute to our Transpara product development. You’ll be part of a highly motivated and collaborative group of experts in breast imaging, artificial intelligence, algorithm development and clinical research who work closely together in an informal atmosphere.
As a Software Engineer you will be working closely with different stakeholders in the company, designing, developing and maintaining services that power our Transpara product. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with product managers, and other engineers to define, design and implement new capabilities and improvements to existing systems, including bringing new ideas and designing solutions from start to finish.
- Producing clean, well-tested, and maintainable solutions (C++ and Python), adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions in the team.
- Contributing to improving our development processes and tools.
Job requirements
You are a self-motivated individual with a high level of enthusiasm and initiative. You are well organized, efficient and able to work independently. Moreover, you have:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proven track record of working on successful software projects
- Deep knowledge of modern software development methods with C++ and Python.
- Experience with Linux environment, virtual machines and Docker.
- Experience working with medical devices, including understanding and previous use of health-related standards (DICOM, HL7).
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience with MRI DICOM images.
