We are hiring a Software Engineer to strengthen our software development team focused on providing a versatile and high performance software interface to our 93000 semiconductor test platform.
You will be part of the V93000 world-wide software development team providing software tools, software drivers and measurement methodologies for the Advantest 93000 semiconductor test platform. We develop software in an Agile team using Scrum and are integrated into a world-wide SAFe environment.
This is a position open to recent graduates as well as experienced software engineers.
Key responsibilities:
- Understanding and documenting customer requirements in collaboration with product owners, product management team
- Providing design proposals and implement designs
- With a quality first approach proposing and designing test approaches for software
- Delivering software components and performing improvements and changes based on customer input
- Contributing to improving development processes as part of an Agile Team
Minimum qualifications:
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent
- Good Java and object-oriented programming knowledge
- Solid working knowledge and experience using Python
- Structured approach to problem analysis and problem solving
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Curiosity and passion to drive the development of new products
- New graduates without job experience as well as experienced software engineers are welcome to apply
Desired additional qualifications
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Linux knowledge
- C++ experience
- Work experience as a part of an agile software development team
- Experience of using AI tools for efficiency improvements in software development
