As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with React, Node.js, Python, and PostgreSQL, along with a strong understanding of best practices in software development.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React, Node.js, Python, and PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to create robust, scalable, and secure applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
- Mentor and guide junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our products and processes.
- Maintaining security standards in code.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in full stack development as a Software Engineer
- Strong proficiency in React, Node.js, Python, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Proficient in version control systems, preferably Git.
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker is a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
