Responsibilities
- Design, implement and manage highly scalable + efficient services on a hybrid cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes/Docker on public and private cloud
- Contribute to the efficiency and reliability of the build system by improving and maintaining tools like CMake, Buck2, etc.
- Develop and maintain a system for dependency and release management to ensure the smooth deployment of software updates
- Optimize the CI/CD system for reliability, performance, and scalability
- Ensure infrastructure is resilient, secure, and scalable to meet the demands of the development team and business needs
- Understand the needs of development teams and evangelize appropriate open-source and proprietary tools to push the boundaries of automation and productivity
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience
- Proficiency in C++, Rust, Python, Bash (expertise in at least two of them)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and public cloud platforms like GCP (AWS is a plus)
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of git, including development workflows on Gitlab or Github
- Thorough understanding of Linux fundamentals
Anticipated New York annual base salary range $150,000 - $170,000 plus eligible for discretionary bonus
