Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Software Engineers to support the National Background Investigative Service (NBIS). The Software Engineer will assist to design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions that address our clients' most challenging problems. You will be an integral part of a team crafting cutting-edge applications and services, leveraging modern technologies and best practices to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. This position offers a unique opportunity for a passionate engineering professional to expand their skills in various software development domains, collaborate on challenging projects, and make a significant impact on our clients' success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzes user interfaces, maintain hardware and software performance tuning, analyze workload and computer usage, maintain interfaces with outside systems, analyze downtimes, analyze proposed system modifications, upgrades and new COTS.
- Defines the problem, and develops system requirements and program specifications, from which programmers prepare detailed flow charts, programs, and tests.
- Coordinates closely with programmers to ensure proper implementation of program and system specifications.
- Develops, in conjunction with functional users, system alternative solutions.
- Develop and configure pipelines for tenants.
- Onboard tenants into pipelines.
- Develop onboarding apps / tools.
- Develop and test reference applications.
- Implement release management.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2 years minimum of relevant experience.
- US Citizenship required with an active Secret clearance or interim Secret clearance.
The estimated salary range for the mid level is $90,000.00 - $115,000.00, commensurate on experience, technical expertise, certifications, and clearance level.
Primary work location is the Washington DC Metro area.
