AnaVation is looking for an  Full Stack Developer to assist our team to develop a new application in an AWS cloud environment.  Candidates will need to possess strong user interface skills using Angular 13 or higher. The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle for software development and the application in production. Includes the technical analysis of requirements, development of the software, automated testing, builds, deployment, monitoring, and feedback.

Note: This position is currently hybrid, with 3 days per week on site with our customer in Washington, DC. Candidates must be within commutable distance to customer site in Washington, DC. Place of performance is subject to change according to the customer’s direction.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a scientific or technical discipline
• 8 years of experience with programming and software development in multiple layers in the software stack (UI, web or micro services, database, search).
• Experience with leading or advanced programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
• Strong proficiency in Angular (version 13 and up) for front-end development
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot for developing microservices and backend systems.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance tuni
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application development and orchestration.
• Strong understanding of Git for version control and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and authentication/authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SAML).
• Experience in writing unit tests and integration tests for both front-end and back-end components.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and DevOps best practices.
• This position requires an active Top Secret clearance and the ability to successfully pass a polygraph and obtain SCI accesses.
