We are searching for a talented software engineer to join our Army ISR Training System team. We are looking for a junior software developer to work with our team of software engineers and analysts to explore and develop solutions on a large, complex development project. The candidate will be expected to integrate into the existing design and execution team and fulfill the role of developing software to address the complexities of simulating realistic sensor environments for Army Airborne ISR systems. We are less focused on specific ISR training systems experience than finding innovative, self-starters who can adapt to a fast-paced, high-profile development effort.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Motivated self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills
- Adaptable and strong work ethic requiring minimal oversight
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years software development experience
- Minimum of 3 years C#, WPF, Java, and C++ development
- Experience following the agile development process
- Familiar with MVVM and event-driven patterns
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with modeling and simulation tools
- Experience with networking protocols such as Protocol Buffers (Protobuf) / Wireshark
- Experience developing software for Linux platform
- Familiarity with DoD security practices
