Job Title: Software Engineer – PDS PCRS
Location: Bangalore

Impact & contribution
Apply software engineering principles and practices in programming technologies and platforms to achieve business outcomes, while building out core technology and domain knowledge required to be effective.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality of software products.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and fix defects.
- Maintain and improve the existing test automation framework.
- Perform manual testing when necessary to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Utilize Jira for bug tracking and project management, ensuring adherence to Jira Hygiene practices.
- Use GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Work with SQL databases and Linux environments to support testing activities.
- Apply basic ETL knowledge to validate data transformations and integrations.
Essential Skills
- 3-6 years of relevant experience is required
- Proficiency in Linux, SQL, and Java.
- Experience with Jira and Jira Hygiene practices.
- Familiarity with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Basic knowledge of ETL processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
