Software Engineer
The Role
Scaled Cognition is developing a new generation of rational, controllable AI models deployable as domain experts for grounded, real-world applications.
As a Software Engineer at Scaled Cognition you will:
- Build customer-facing products that are powered by our novel, intelligent foundation models.
- Build tooling to help with data collection, processing, and productionizing of our end-to-end AI solutions.
- Collaborate with a talented and passionate team of researchers and engineers to solve complex technical challenges.
Example projects could include:
- Building and maintaining search/retrieval systems that act as an extended, proprietary knowledge store for our productionized AI models.
- Integrating with third-party platforms to extract training data.
- Building web or mobile front-ends to access and demonstrate the capabilities of our models.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with Python, TypeScript, and/or other common programming languages.
- Experience deploying secure, highly available user-facing applications.
