About the Role:
As a Software Engineer, you will be developing & maintaining software platforms associated with next-generation audio, video, light & control systems in Harman’s Professional Solutions SBU. You will collaborate and work closely with internal Harman teams to integrate software platforms in order to deliver successful products.
About the Team:
You will be reporting in to the Sr. Manager, Software Engineering / R&D.
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for developing, deploying & maintaining software platforms associated with next-generation audio, video & control systems for Professional Solutions.
- Participate in the lifecycle of a software product including Requirement Management, Design, Development, Testing, Integration & Release Management. Special focus on Architecture Design, Build & Test Automation, System Profiling & large-scale deployment.
- Be part of a process-oriented culture for a team developing software products using agile methodologies.
- Demonstrate an ability to think beyond the technology itself and understand key business drivers that ensure technology investment will provide substantial value or improvements to customers.
What You Need:
- Master or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing large-scale software applications in C++ or C#.
- Experience with HTML / CSS / Javascript.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
What is Nice to Have:
- Experience building cross-platform applications.
- Knowledge of OpenGL / WebGL.
- Knowledge of Angular.
- Understanding of Professional Solutions in the domain of Audio, Video, Lighting & Control.
- Knowledge of audio signal processing or audio technologies.
- Experience with Scrum in an Agile Development environment and familiarity with relevant tools.

Salary Ranges:
$ 78,750 - $ 115,500
