Responsibilities:
- Deliver the product and technical roadmap items aligning to customer & stakeholder needs plus feedback and build trust with them.
- Ship changes to our platform within the first week by taking complete ownership around end-to-end quality and performance.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers within the team and organisation, by reading and reviewing technical plans/architecture and contributing to technical discussions with a scale to serve millions of users.
- Keep a flexible mindset and a willingness to learn. This will be your chance to be integral part of a team, learn and grow with it.
- Write Java/Kotlin code, which knits together with IaC(Infrastructure as Code) that forms the core of our platform.
- You will be responsible for independently delivering small to medium sized pieces of software to a production standard.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS or Platform product.
- Experience collaborating effectively in a cross-disciplinary team setup interacting directly with Product Managers, Solutions Architect and Application Engineers.
- Depth of expertise in Java or Kotlin with basic understanding of managing infrastructure, containerization & deployments.
- Experience in developing Distributed Systems and Microapps/Microservices.
- Experience owning delivery of software increments, end to end by writing & owning tests.
Nice to haves:
- Basic Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Helm, Terraform or alternative solutions.
- Familiarity with basics of Kubernetes concept.
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management solutions will have brownie points.
