Software Engineer

Description
Striim is looking for a Software Engineer who is ready to dive-in for a great learning experience in a truly start-up environment and want to make an impact for our Pivot to SaaS initiative. We are trying to solve ambiguous problems by leveraging the latest technologies and bringing more value to our customers. As we are a start-up one will have the privilege to work on full end to end functionality. You will have the opportunity to work with experienced and passionate engineers. We believe in working hard and playing hard.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing of our products to ensure quality and reliability.
- Prepare comprehensive test plans and conduct peer reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Drive test case automation initiatives and actively contribute to the development of automation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, assisting them in problem-solving and skill development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software products.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 Years of experience as a QA engineer
- Proficiency in Cypress for automated testing.
- Strong Java programming skills.
- Knowledge of Framework Development, preferably in Java.
- Demonstrable expertise in at least one of the following databases: Oracle, MySQL, SQLServer, or Postgres.
- Experience with Jenkins and Dockers for continuous integration and deployment.
- Familiarity with network concepts, Shell scripting, and test case management.
- Exposure to Software as a Service (SAAS) environments is considered an advantage.
