Cantaloupe's Seed is a leading software as a service (SaaS) Platform supporting vending, micromarkets and delivery service markets. The scale of the platform allows us to support thousands of customers and process millions of transactions per day both in the US and internationally. Seed is used to track inventory at point of sale, intelligently determine restock requirements, coordinate picklists with the warehouse, schedule routes for service and restocks, track sales, and many other back-office functions.
As a full stack software engineer, you will get to work on various types of development projects including: Web Front ends, Web Services, Web API's, Database/SQL, system integrations, Data Analysis, Data Warehouse, IOS and Android based Mobile applications, and research on development tools, processes and CI/CD.
Responsibilities:
- Be part of an international, Agile Scrum development team
- Partner with the product team to get an in depth understanding of the business requirements.
- Working as both an individual and as part of a larger teams, design and implement enhancements and new functionality on the Seed Platform
- Research development tools, process, and automation to continuously optimize our CI/CD process.
- Data Analysis on both OLTP and Data Warehouse databases and create related dashboards.
- Identify technical problems/bottlenecks/bugs and be able to find and present solutions.
- Design, build, update systems using C# .Net Core and Azure cloud-based technologies.
- As part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity, this position may also involve responsibilities related to SOX compliance.
Required Skills:
- Ability to design software that is operationally supportable, reliable, and highly scalable.
- Solid programing skills needed to be able to implement those solution following modern coding patterns and best practices.
- Adaptable and a quick learner: ability to learn and use new tools /technologies as needed.
- Strong understanding of Databases and SQL. Experience with SQL Server even better.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to research and analyze systems, process and data and recommend improvements.
