Indica Labs is looking for highly talented developers to complement the Halo AI team who will be responsible for contributing to leading-edge digital pathology software. This position is an exciting and emerging area of medicine that is critical in various fields, including cancer treatment research, drug trials, and development. The Halo AI software development team generally use C# and C++ and are responsible for the following aspects of the application:

- Large data set handling and manipulation.

- Analysis of algorithm creation and maintenance.

- Providing easy-to-use machine learning solutions.

- Development and maintenance of workflows supporting machine learning analysis.

- Integrating back-end technologies such as GraphQL, Entity Framework, and MySQL.

- Debugging and addressing reported software bugs.

- Troubleshoot issues in complex, large-scale production deployments.

- User interface building.

- Work effectively in a distributed team.

- and much more.

We hire based on talent, not just experience in a specific technology stack. Developers with varied experience are welcome and encouraged to apply. Our preferred qualifications are as follows:

- Proven ability to thrive in a distributed team environment.

- Ability to identify potential areas of technical risk and growth of product.

- Strong knowledge of OOP and the .NET framework.

- Ability to apply best practices to code and design.

- Develop highly performant applications and modules.

- Experience with C#, C++, and python.

- Familiarity with PyTorch or a similar machine learning framework like TensorFlow is considered a plus.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math or related.

- 2-5 years of work experience in a similar development role.
