- Work on greenfield and brownfield projects in Post Trade Technology, supporting various post-trade functions and Business as Usual requests.
- Propose improvements related to development and support activities, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production system support issues, maintaining high system uptime and performance.
- Perform software maintenance and upgrades, keeping our systems up-to-date and secure.
- Liaise with different teams to resolve dependencies and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, continuously improving your skills.
- Document and communicate technical designs and decisions, ensuring clear and effective knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-4 years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of SDLC activities.
- Proficiency in Java, SQL Server, Postgres, Angular, Spring, and Docker is essential.
- Experience with Unix shell scripting, messaging technologies (Kafka, JMS, Solace), and Gitlab source control is required.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of digital assets and technologies is an advantage, as is experience with Test-Driven or Behavior-Driven Development.
- Experience with cloud technologies, deployment, and design is a plus, as is PostgreSQL/Sybase experience.
- A background in Financial Services and an understanding of trade lifecycles is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.
- A self-starter attitude, attention to detail, and a strong aptitude for learning new technologies are key attributes.
Compensation Expectations: $110,000-$120,000 Base Salary
