  • Implement and maintain analytics and attribution systems, ensuring accurate, reliable data capture

  • Develop custom scripts and integrations to connect marketing platforms via APIs

  • Partner with marketing stakeholders to translate campaign requirements into technical specifications and working solutions

  • Optimize site performance, SEO technical health, and page speed for marketing properties

  • Set up and maintain A/B testing and personalization frameworks

  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies across marketing and analytics tools

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure marketing tooling aligns with broader technical standards and security practices

  • Document systems, workflows, and processes for cross-functional visibility

Required Experience

  • Located at our HQ in Wilmington, NC

  • Work sponsorship is not supported, now or in the future

  • 3+ years of experience in a role combining marketing technology and software engineering (e.g., Marketing Engineer, MarTech Engineer, Growth Engineer, or similar)

  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with HTML/CSS

  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, Celebrus, pixels, GA4, Google Analytics, GA4, Segment, Mixpanel

  • Exposure to Salesforce

  • Hands-on experience with tag management systems and analytics platforms

  • Experience integrating third-party APIs (CRM, email marketing, advertising platforms, CMS)

  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and web performance optimization

  • Experience with A/B testing tools and experimentation frameworks

  • Experience in SQL for querying and analyzing marketing data

  • Strong communication skills — able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Demonstrated experience on related projects, such as:

    • Building or maintaining marketing landing pages or microsites

    • Implementing conversion tracking and attribution pipelines

    • Automating lead routing or lifecycle marketing workflows

    • Migrating or integrating marketing platforms

Preferred Experience

  • Continuous learner that enjoys quickly picking up new technology relevant to their current project
