ConductorOne is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to help improve the overall software quality posture through building and executing a holistic test automation strategy. We are seeking someone who enjoys working in a face-paced, agile environment, collaborating across several teams as the primary champion for quality. You will provide the development team with tools to perform testing quickly and consistently, with a light sprinkling of test writing and occasional manual testing. 

What you’ll do: 

• Own the test strategy, frameworks and AI-enabled testing tools supporting 3rd party integrations

• Designing and implementing new automated test scripts to ensure software quality

• Troubleshooting test failures

• Providing guidance to developers on testability and sound testing practices, including code review

• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines to enhance automated testing and streamline software delivery.

• Design and execute testing for periodic special testing projects (e.g. compliance support), which may be initially manual, with desire for automation

You would be an excellent candidate if…. 

• You are a skilled software engineer, passionate about quality, enabling software testing with cutting edge technologies and sound engineering practices

• You are expert in leveraging modern testing tools and frameworks, including end-to-end testing, API testing, and CI/CD integration, including tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Postman, OpenAPI, and Github

• You love working in a fast-paced agile environment with dynamic prioritization

• You are able to move to clarity in the face of ambiguity

• You demonstrate a pragmatic approach to testing and problem solving, with a bias toward action and delivering working software incrementally

• You are excited about and experienced with leveraging AI

Extra Credit if … 

• Experience with the Go programming language

• Experienced with the unique challenges of 3rd party integrations

• Experience with Identity Governance and/or cyber security
