POSITION: Software Engineer in Test

LOCATION: 5440 West 110th Street, Suite 200, Overland Park, KS 66211

JOB DUTIES: Develop, maintain, and execute a wide range of basic quality tests to ensure software applications meet or exceed technical specifications, company standards, and end-user requirements. Review and/or gather test plan requirements; develop and/or revise test scripts. Specify and implement test automation framework using WebdriverIO, Selenium, Telerik, or similar products. Execute automated tests on multiple environments, utilizing multiple browsers. Expand automation framework to provide additional test capabilities. Design, code, and document automated test cases within a defined framework to ensure quality. Improve the reliability and repeatability of automated testing. Conduct diagnostic analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex software issues. Participate in and facilitate daily meetings to communicate progress and barriers to completing application development and testing goals. Assist in risk analysis after becoming knowledgeable about the various environments and/or platforms in which company products and application systems operate. Maintain and update user guides and release documentation.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, Application Developer, or related occupation.

Experience must include one (1) year in the following skills:

• Using MySQL to testing data warehousing and query structured data through query optimization;
• Using testing tools (Katalon, Cypress, or Databricks) for automating test scripts and implementing test automation framework; and
• Writing SQL queries, including SQL Joins.

OFFERED WAGE: $79,805 - $158,500/year
