About the Role
Join our team as a Quality Assurance Engineer to contribute to a cutting-edge web application. In this role, you will work in different phases of the software development cycle, designing and running manual and automated tests, assuring the quality of our platform, which delivers real-time, remote vehicle diagnostic.
A successful candidate will have experience with large-scale applications and a strong capability to champion a quality-first mindset across the team. Given our technology stack, which includes a web portal, microservices, and an event-driven architecture, essential requirements include the ability to develop end-to-end test automations and deep knowledge of REST APIs and queue systems.
Your work will directly empower our clients and their customers by ensuring the stability and continuous improvement of this vital solution.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Designing test plans and strategies for complex software products.
- Running manual and automated tests.
- Designing performance automation test plans, scenarios, and procedures.
- Identifying and reporting bugs.
- Working with the development team to correct bugs.
- Analyze test results.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements.
- Influence and promote Quality Assurance initiatives.
- Provide Quality Assurance expertise and ensure adherence to processes and standards.
- Provide training on software quality to the technical team.
Required Skills:
- 2 years of experience with software quality (at least 1 with test automation).
- Conceptual Knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, quality management, Design Patterns, and Clean Code.
- Experience with different types of testing such as unit, functional, integration, regression, performance, etc.
- Experience testing web applications and APIs.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright or similar).
- Experience with Javascript/Typescript.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with containerization technologies and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD
- Excellent communication
- Intermediate/Advanced English
- Must reside in Brazil
Nice to have:
- Experience with Cucumber
- Familiarity with cloud technologies. (AWS, Azure)
